Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Marsh Hill is an inclusive school serving families from the local community and endeavouring to ensure every child reaches their potential. We believe that every child is entitled to a high quality education delivered at a level appropriate to their needs. Every teacher at Marsh Hill is a teacher of pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and are responsible and accountable for the progress and development of all pupils in their class.
Teachers at Marsh Hill have high expectations of pupils with SEND and we strive to support all children to enable them to achieve their full potential in all areas of the curriculum. We make sure that additional needs are identified early and we offer a range of provisions according to identified needs.
The Governing body, Head Teacher, SENCO and all other members of the staff (teaching and non-teaching) play important roles in working collaboratively to create an inclusive environment at Marsh Hill.
